PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Savon de Marseille has been made in France for centuries. It is made with vegetable oil, which makes it very moisturizing and gentle on the skin. The soap is also said to be very good for the hair and scalp. It can be used on all skin types, but it is especially good for those with sensitive skin. The soap is available in many different fragrances such as lavender or olive, so you can choose the one that you like the best.

Savon de Marseille (unscented) is a natural, healthy, and effective alternative for the whole family and household maintenance. It is made with vegetable oils, without the addition of preservatives, colourings, perfumes, or animal fats.

Fer a Cheval Marseille Soap Tradition

Marseille soap or Savon de Marseille is a traditional hard soap made from vegetable oils that has been produced around Marseille, France, for about 600 years. Nearly 10 days are necessary for the elaboration of the soap cooked in cauldrons according to the Marseilles process. This traditional know-how, carefully handed down from generation to generation of Master Soap Makers, is still honoured in our soap factory.
